Dive Rite air cells are available in seven different styles. All air cells, with the exception of Travel Wings, will work with both the Transpac and nearly any technical back plate/harness combination (Travel Wings work only with the Transpac). Each Dive Rite air cell incorporates an airtight inner bladder, surrounded by a heavy-duty outer shell. Here are some of the key features found on each Dive Rite air cell:

Travel Wing the most compact TransPac air cell can accommodate back-mounted single cylinders of up to 95 cubic feet/15 litres. An elastic outer shell helps them maintain a streamlined shape.

Travel Wing is a popular choice among divers who dive only single cylinders-- or who want an additional, compact TransPac air cell for use solely with singles (such as when traveling to a tropical resort destination).

Venture Wing is the most compact air cell designed specifically for applications combining single cylinders, of up to 95 cubic feet/15 litres, with a rigid back plate/harness configuration or the TransPac harness. This wing will work with the largest of single tanks and is constructed of heavy-duty ballistic nylon.

Trek Wing are best suited for use with single cylinders of any size, and with lightweight to medium-weight double cylinders ("a shorter air cell for shorter cylinders"). Trek Wing can accommodate up to two 83-cubic-foot/13 litre back-mounted cylinders. The Trek Wing features 1050 ballistic Cordura Nylon for extra durability.

Trek Wing includes a gusset-control cord, similar to that found on Rec, Dual Rec, Super and SuperOne Wing. This enables users to better control the shape and lift characteristics of the air cell, and helps prevent Trek Wings from wrapping around the sides of tanks, when the air cell is used with single cylinders.

Trek Wing are a good choice for divers whose time under water is divided between diving singles and lightweight doubles. They have also proven popular in areas such as Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, where local cave divers want an air cell that is well-matched in size to the double aluminum 80s which are popular in this region, and which does not allow large pockets of air to slosh from side to side, the way larger air cells tend to do. Further, the Trek Wing is clearly "the" air cell for side mounting.

Rec Wing are a single bladder air cell which can be used with both single and double cylinders. This wing can accommodate up to two 104-cubic-foot/16 litre back-mounted cylinders. They also incorporate a built-in gusset-control cord to help divers manage the shape and lift capacity of the air cell.

Rec Wings are a good choice for divers who, while they may primarily use doubles, want to be able to configure their air cell for use with single cylinders as well.

Classic Wing is diving's first air cell designed specifically for use with double cylinders. They provide up to 59 pounds/27 kg of lift. They are designed for use with medium- to heavyweight doubles (Classic Wings should not be used with single cylinders). These wings can accommodate up to two 104-cubic-foot/16 litre back-mounted cylinders, and one 80-cubic-foot/11 litre stage bottle. A 22-inch/56cm low-pressure inflator hose is standard. Available in Black, Blue and Red.

Classic Wing is popular among many hard-core cave divers, who appreciate its simple, streamlined, time-tested design.
