DIN Caps and Plugs

Dive Rite is a firm believer in the superiority of DIN connectors over conventional regulator yoke fittings. This is why every valve Dive Rite has ever sold has been compatible with DIN-equipped regulator first stages. It is why each of our brand-new regulators comes with a DIN connector as standard equipment.

Given Dive Rite's commitment to the DIN connector, it is only logical we introduce these first two items: a protective cap for the DIN fitting on regulator first stages; and, a protective plug for DIN valve orifices.

Both the cap and plug have these features in common:

• Both are made from a high-grade synthetic material that resists salt and sediment buildup, corrosion and damage from normal use.

• Both work with either 200- or 300-bar DIN fittings. Both come with attachment lanyards.

• Both are vented at the lanyard-attachment point, so that the presence of high-pressure gas does not accidentally trap a plug or cap, making it difficult to remove.
