The total number of divers that participated in all events on June 15th was 633 divers.
The total number of volunteers for the day was over 1500. Volunteers included the group leaders for the record attempt, pier cleanup, beach cleanup and members of the Women's Club of Deerfield Beach.
Divers, snorkelers, and surface support collected one-half ton of lead, 52lbs of wood, 161 pounds of line, 104lbs of metal, 102lbs of miscellaneous debris for a total of 1465lbs of material removed. Additionally 219 miles of fishing line was removed from the pier.

We Broke the record.
The previous record was held by Ahmed Gabr with 614 divers. With this year's clean-up we increased the total to 633.
Dixie Divers was formally awarded its GUINNES WORLD RECORDSTM certificate immediately after the achievement on June 15.
